Research Description:

Investigation of Morgellons Disease. Morgellons is a controversial condition with unusual physical and behavioral symptoms. Morgellons patients have slowly healing skin lesions and have unusual fibers & other material associated with their skin. We are trying to characterize the fibers and look for any microbiological explanation for the cause of the condition. ^[1]
